David Kane’s current scope of practice includes counseling clients in the areas of General Civil and Business Litigation, Real Estate Matters, and managing Kane Title, LLC, a full-service Title Company that integrates seamlessly with his law practice.  Kane Title's website can be found at www.kanetitlellc.com. He also manages an active case load with regular bench and jury trials. He advocates cases for plaintiffs and defendants in all areas of business and real estate litigation.

Mr. Kane also served as General Counsel for a beef, slaughter and packing company with over 750 employees, noted as the 8th largest beef slaughter and packing concern in the World. His General Counsel responsibilities included general transactional work, handling all employment related concerns regarding ADA compliance, EEOC compliance and managing all additional legal matters including managing the litigation of the business both in house and with outside counsel.

In addition, Mr. Kane is currently active as retained General Counsel for a global fire suppression company, which manufactures fire suppression systems for various multi-family, industrial and general commercial builders.

 

Mr. Kane also advises clients on entity formation including joint ventures, limited partnerships and limited liability companies together with assisting in general corporate maintenance, dissolving and winding up business affairs, as well as Mergers & Acquisitions.   Mr. Kane’s courtroom experience includes handling appeals on both the state and federal level. David Kane’s law firm utilizes the resources of larger firms but, because he is a sole practitioner, his clients work directly with him, receiving the personal attention and close communication to which they are entitled. In addition, they receive highly professional and ethical legal services in a cost-effective manner.

Mr. Kane is very active in the North Texas business and legal community. Attorneys throughout the area refer clients and cases to him. However, the majority of his new clients and cases are referred to him by satisfied former and current business and Kane Title clients.
